Zdzisław Beksiński was a versatile artist. Painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography – at these five art genres he had been most successful and they had earned him fame. However, he had one more passion perhaps even his avid fans hardly know about: in the 1960s he had tried his hand at writing, while continuing to work as an artist.
