Jerzy Zdrada, born in 1936, is a distinguished Polish historian and academic. As a professor at the Jagiellonian University and a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, he specializes in the history of Poland in the 19th century, with particular focus on the period of the great emigration and the January Uprising.
