Alexander Jablokov

Alexander Jablokov, born April 29, 1956, is an accomplished American author renowned for his contributions to the genres of fantasy and science fiction. Before dedicating himself fully to writing in 1988, he spent years working as a communications engineer in Boston. Later, he also took on a role as a marketing executive, balancing his career with his passion for storytelling.

Jablokov's bibliography includes a variety of novels and short stories. His debut novel, Carve the Sky, was published in 1991, followed by several notable works such as A Deeper Sea (1992), Nimbus (1993), and River of Dust (1996). His later works include Deepdrive (1998) and Brain Thief (2009), which showcase his evolving narrative style and imaginative storytelling.

In addition to his novels, Jablokov has written collections of short fiction, with The Breath of Suspension (1994) being one of his most recognized works. His stories often explore complex themes and innovative ideas, contributing significantly to the science fiction genre.
